Young designers often have their designs ripped off by the big labels while outworkers making the goods are paid as little as $3.80 an hour. This project is a work in progress. Fairwear will recycle a huge Chicks on Speed banner recently displayed at Le Bon Marche department store in Paris into a fake Chanel lap-top bag. Opening night: performances and video screenings of past Fairwear and COS actions edited by Juliane Solmsdorf and Kylie Wilkinson.
